Instalação patroni e stolon e pråtica de quedas. Maxim Milyutin



Patroni e Stolon sĂŁo duas das soluçÔes mais famosas e avançadas para orquestração PostgreSQL e clusters de configuração LĂ­der-Seguidores de alta disponibilidade (failover automĂĄtico). No entanto, os engenheiros que migram de soluçÔes comprovadas antigas (Corosync & Pacemaker) e incorporadas de outros SGBDs enfrentam dificuldades para instalar essas ferramentas e falta de compreensĂŁo das funçÔes de cada um dos componentes. Nesta master class, serĂĄ examinado o processo tĂ­pico de instalação de clusters Patroni e Stolon em mĂĄquinas virtuais (nĂŁo em contĂȘineres), bem como o comportamento desses clusters com vĂĄrias falhas na infraestrutura. Todo o processo serĂĄ demonstrado em trĂȘs mĂĄquinas virtuais rodando o vagrant usando imagens prĂ©-construĂ­das. Se desejar, o ouvinte pode acompanhar o processo, tendo previamente preparado seu entorno.
