De alguma forma, foi necessário integrar o Open vSwitch (OVS) com R-virtualization plus R-storage (RP), pois pode ser útil e não apenas com o RP.
A versão atual do RP no momento do artigo era 7.0.13-31 , o núcleo nesta versão é 3.10.0-1062.12.1.rv7.131.10.1, que corresponde à versão RedHat 7.7 e a versão OVS que acompanha o repositório RP era 2.0. 0 A lista de funcionalidades no OVS 2.0.0 pode ser encontrada aqui . O objetivo era tentar configurar o VXLAN e um comutador virtual como uma alternativa às pontes nativas kvm-qemu e libvirt . Se você usa o OpenSource kvm-qemu, tudo está bem com o OVS, mas eu queria experimentá-lo com o RP, onde não apenas o kvm-qemu + libvirt nu, mas muitos patches para este pacote são vstorage .
